Futuristic KaionWAVE, from the design labs of Electrolux

washingsmaller.jpg It’s an egg? No, it’s a blob! No, it’s just a washing machine! I know what you guys must be thinking! This machine resembles, probably an alien’s egg, but seriously it is the new washing concept to hit the town. The KaionWAVE has been designed by Electrolux and is boon for those who are paranoid about germs. Gone are the days where the humble soap and water were used for a clean and sparkling wash. The KaionWAVE uses ultraviolet light to penetrate fabrics and kill bacteria and viruses. The biggest scoop however is that it uses no water. It uses Ultraviolet-C light and free radical oxygen for the cleaning every fiber of the cloth. It's designed to work on "nano-coated" material a durable and stain-resistant fabric that many people hope will be the clothing of the future.

Acting as a washer cum dryer, the Kaion WAVE uses wireless technology with electromagnetic induction technology. For a household that wants to run a waterless and chemical free machine, this WAVE is cool.

Hi, thanks for crediting Crave for this item. One thing: The small photo is actually not the washing system, but a separate product altogether (the WinePod). Our item included both photos just to make the visual comparison.
