Future Augmented (hyper) Reality kitchen has interactive menus all over the place and even has recipes for making tea

Sci-fi fans will love this, I know I did. Keiichi Matsuda, a Masters student at the Bartlett School of Architecture in the UK took it upon himself to show us just where technology is heading and how it would look in our everyday lives. His masterpiece short film, and it is a masterpiece, “Augmented (hyper) Reality: Domestic Robocop", is all about how interaction with simple stuff at home will use AR technology and gestures to get things done. Forget about the whole ‘Matrix’/ terminator phenomenon of A.I. taking over for now and check out how even the display could at some time become obsolete. His rendition of a future kitchen is just awesome. With recipes popping up, UI’s with instructions and guidelines all over the place and advertisements hanging in the air is brilliant. I’d like to see more of what Mr. Matsuda can come up with but more importantly I’d love to see a kitchen like this.
