Fujitsu cashing in netbook segment with “LOOX U” mini PC before Tablet’s hit the shelves

fujitsu_notebook.jpg While the Tablet PC is still surely but steadily gaining ground, Fujitsu Corporation is still trying to quickly cash in on the netbook segment. Their light weight “LOOX U” mini PC features dimensions of just 204×106.5×23.8mm and weighs in at 495g. It’s going to come fully loaded with an Intel Atom Z520 CPU (1.33GHz), Intel US15W chip set (video functional built-in), 30GB SSD, Wi-Fi, WiMAX support, Bluetooth Ver.2.1+EDR, SD card support for additional memory and a 5.6-inch touch panel LCD. The battery life of this tiny PC is supposed to range in the 4.0 hour range. The Fujitsu “LOOX U” will come with Windows 7 Home Premium.
