Four new iMacs with better displays, processors announced

new-apple-imac_1.jpg Apple has just announced four new iMacs that will be entering the line of existing models with better displays and processors. The first two models both have 21.5 inch LED backlit displays (1920 x 1080 pixels), 3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processors (3MB L2 cache, shared). From these, the first one is blessed with a NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics and a 500 GB SATA HDD and costs $1,199 while the second one provides with a ATI Radeon HD 4670 graphic card (256 MB GDDR3) and 1 TB HDD and costs $1,499. The other two models provide with 27 inch displays (2560 x 1440 pixels) and 1 TB SATA HDD. The first of the two has a 3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor and costs $1,699, while the second one costs $1,999 and provides with a 2.66 GHz Intel Core i5 quad-core processor with 8MB shared L3 cache.

All models have 4GB DDR3 SD-RAMs, 4 USB ports, Firewire, SD card slot, AirPort Extreme 802.11 wireless networking support, slot-load 8x SuperDrives (with double layer support), iSight web camera, built-in speakers and microphones.
