Ferrari 612 Scaglietti contending to be World's Fastest Police Car

Ferrari has been hitting news always with regards to its speeding cars and more so with a few of the Ferraris crashing on the roads. But this time it’s on the other side of the line as the Ferrari 612 Scaglietti Grand Tourer is all set to appear in special Police livery at Salon Privé’s Private and Luxury Super Car Show on 11th of July. It actually comes complete with police badging and working lights on the roof. Designed by Pininfarina folks, the 612 Scaglietti is powered by a 5.7L engine that rockets the supercar to speeds beyond 199mph (320 km/h). This is faster than other similarly-equipped police cars like the Lamborghini Gallardo used in Italy (309 km/h), but still slower than the 362 km/h Brabus Rocket shown last year in Essen.
