Facebook’s got their eye on Asia as they’ve just got permission from the State Information Technology and Communications department of India to open an office there. Their very first Asian office space for 500 employees will be set up in beautiful Hyderabad, India at the Raheja Mindspace special economic zone (SEZ). This is their fourth office after Palo Alto (California), Dublin (Ireland) and a recently opened office in Austin (Texas). It’s due to go ‘live’ within two months and will help keep track and provide support for multilingual users and the other 500 million world wide Facebookers.
