Exmovere Holdings unveils Chariot robotic mobility vehicle for the disabled
Like predicted before, humans would indeed use robots for more than just marveling fellow nerds at science and technology fairs. Take the Chariot by Exmovere Holdings for example. This robotized mobility system inspired to quite an extent by the popular Segway could help the mobility-impaired get around quickly without too much of a hassle. Unlike wheelchairs that require users to make a mighty effort getting around, the Chariot concept is guided by subtle movements of the hips and torso and sports sign and ground sensors with wireless and cellular connectivity, making it an ideal support system for the mobility-impaired folk out there. For now a concept, this game-changing robotic vehicle would do better with a slightly more subtle design.
