Epson is all set to introduce two new members in its fresh and high-profile line-up of portable photo viewers / media players by sidetracking from the former siblings P-2000 and P-4000. The newly unveiled P-3000 and P-5000 come with 40GB and 80GB hard drives, along with SD slot and CompactFlash slots. It manages to surpass its predecessors by making space for the slight boost in screen size to a full four inches (up from 3.8 inches). Epson has managed to bring a substantial improvement in the operating thereby making the new arrivals 250% faster. It also boast a an array of video format support including DivX as well as MP3 and AAC audio support.

You can expect the Epson babies to hit the retail shelves before the end of year for $499 and $699, respectively.
