Emily Clock hung on the wall stares straight at you
Tacky, weird, puzzled to downright irritating and bossy, we have come past many types of alarm clock in recent times. The Emily Clock takes away the trophy for being the most practical clock. Designed by Greg Wolos for the "Show Us Your Skills contest" by furni, the design actually won the first prize in the competition. It incorporates the basic design sense that most clock manufacturers have ignored for so long. Generally you are in bed when you need to see the time on your clock. Thus you are always on your side and either tilt the clock to a suitable angle or prop yourself up. Emily Clock mounts on the wall and can be read perfectly when you are lying down. Simplicity and logic always rocks!
The only flaw that one can point out in the design of the Emily Clock is that instead of making it wall mounted Greg could have incorporated a stand or something, hence making it portable.
