The recent ban on cell phones while driving has not caused enough concern among the mobile phone accessories makers. The Ego Flash is a Bluetooth enabled hands-free multimedia system that combines a 1.6″OLED display with hands-free capability, the Flash throws in an MP3 player for good measure. Featuring voice recognition out of the box -- meaning one does not have to "train" the system -- the device integrates with the car stereo system to mute sound when a call comes in. Another nice feature built in is the ability to transmit incoming text messages onscreen -- although you might wish to disable this feature if your significant other is around and there is the possibility that a more clandestine significant other will transmit a 1-4-3 messages to you.

The Ego Flash will set you back $250, this does not include installation since the device is a two unit gadget that is wired together via the car stereo and needs a skilled hand to set up.
