Ego Flash - In car Bluetooth hands free redefined

ego-flash1.jpg The recent ban on cell phones while driving has not caused enough concern among the mobile phone accessories makers. So what if texting went as illegal as drinking and driving, the fact remains that driving and talking on the mobile isn’t going to stop. Cashing on this fact the Ego Flash was developed. The Ego Flash is a Bluetooth enabled hands-free multimedia system that combines a 1.6″OLED display with hands-free capability, the Flash throws in an MP3 player for good measure. Featuring voice recognition out of the box -- meaning one does not have to "train" the system -- the device integrates with the car stereo system to mute sound when a call comes in. Another nice feature built in is the ability to transmit incoming text messages onscreen -- although you might wish to disable this feature if your significant other is around and there is the possibility that a more clandestine significant other will transmit a 1-4-3 messages to you.

The Ego Flash will set you back $250, this does not include installation since the device is a two unit gadget that is wired together via the car stereo and needs a skilled hand to set up.
