EA releases three games for the Android
EA has realized the threat that open-source platforms have the potential to produce quality games from independent or small developers, and could lead to the company lose its lead in the mobile gaming arena. The company has now announced that it would be bringing three games to Google's open-source mobile platform, Android. The games are Tetris, Bejeweled, and Monopoly Here & Now. Tetris and Monopoly Here & Now Edition are now available while Bejeweled is expected to be launched next month. EA so far has customized mobile versions of "Spore," "Tetris," "Sudoku," and "Scrabble" for Apple's hot-selling iPhones and some games for the Nokia N-Gage series of phones.
Tetris and Monopoly Here & Now Edition are available for just US$7.99. The games can be downloaded directly from the EA Mobile website.
