Ducati’s GP9 and GP10 design patented
Ducati have totally fallen for their own works of wonder, with the cool design of the GP9 and the GP10. The design uses a structural airbox that provides steering head to the engine at the front of the motor and a swinging arm at the rear. There are several references to bikes of the present as well as those of the future. Naturally, the frameless design of the bikes means that there’s lower weight that has to be carried around.
It’s quite evident that the design of the bike aided to the four wins by Casey Stoner. The semi-monocoque design will soon be used in a more widespread manner.
