DMC Xclef 500 with 100GB of storage puts the iPod to shame

When it comes to running out of space on a PMP, iPod or even a cellphone, we loose our cool and curse the company and make, but to no avail. As we keep attaching SD cards to fill in for the missing megabytes, it keeps shredding our budget. How about the DMC Xclef 500, it comes with a whopping 100 GB memory and can store up to 3500 hours of music (considering them to be 64kb/s WMA files). Well, the battery surely won’t last that long. It amazes me. What can or will someone do with so much memory? However, there also is some limitation to owning this one. The display screen is just a monochrome display. How I wish this one had some OLED screen fitted into it. It has the dimensions of 5’ x 3.2’ x 0.8’.

The DMC Xclef 500 comes in five renditions: no drive (US $149), 40GB (US $249), 60 GB (US $299), 80 GB (US $349) and 100 GB (US $449). This is among the less pretty gizmos that do the job.
