Adding glitz to LG Viewty, LG has tied up with DivX Inc. so that the new 5.0 mega-pixel digital camera-phone can support DivX playback. The DivX Mobile Certified LG Viewty will allow users to easily playback a wide range of DivX files from the PC on the go or output to a TV monitor without converting to another format. Users will also be able to view DivX files from popular online video communities such as Stage6.com at ten times the speed of WCDMA through the HSDPA 3.6 high-speed Internet access capability.

The LG Viewty boasts of many ‘world first’ features such as 120 fps video recording, unique camera functionality like manual focus, image stabilizer and handwriting. LG Viewty will go on sale from mid-October starting from Europe and on to other regions.
