Display digital pictures the Parrot Specchio way
Parrot’s various portable gizmos don’t usually have us running in circles but this time it looks like they finally have a winner – the Parrot Specchio designed by Martin Szekely. I know, I haven’t heard of this designer either but who cares? The gadget this man has designed is pretty darn cool! For those of you who still haven’t got a handle of what this is, the Parrot Specchio is a Bluetooth digital photo frame and is easily the latest in digital photo frame chic. Featuring a whole bunch of ways to transfer and share pictures and albums the Specchio accepts your pictures via an SD/MMC card slot and mini USB port and even from your Picasa or Flickr photo albums via Wi-Fi.
Measuring 7-inches, the LCD screen stores up to 1,500 photos. More interesting is the feature that allows the Parrot Specchio to function as an ordinary mirror when it is switched off. When you turn it on, it automatically becomes a work of art, displaying all your favourite digital memories in a classy manner. And as no word has been mentioned about pricing, sources say it might cost anywhere between £250 ($377 USD) to £400 ($600 USD).
