Disney Japan is all set to woe Japanese kids with its mobile service. Launched in collaboration with Softbank Disney will be just providing value added services like an email @ disney.co.jp, one button access to Disney's mobile portal with Yahoo Japan and last but not the least a user can select his favorite Disney character assign to his profile and customize it. Coming to the handset Disney will be offering the DM001SH in silver, gold or pink, the clamshell will sport a 2.6 inch screen, 2 Megapixel camera with video recording, SD card slot, Music / Video player and One seg tuner for watching TV on the move. Of course the phone is preloaded with Disney goodies like wallpapers, screensavers, ringtones etc. It is really surprising that Disney choose a phone without child safety features like GPS tracking which allows the parents to keep track of the childs movements, also absent is the emergency safety alarm which goes with a bright light. The DM001SH measures 101.5×49×12.9mm, weighs 101 grams and will go on sale in Japan from March.
