Dell XPS 710 H2C makes you wonder why they bought Alienware

xps_710-h2c_300.jpgThe XPS 710 H2C is Dell’s latest gaming machine. It comes with an awesome cooling mechanism. The Dell H2C two-stage cooling setup in this one includes a fan, a liquid-to-air heat exchanger, a TEC (thermoelectric cooling) fluid chiller and an entire circuitry to bring about the cooling process of this monster. The cooling system is called two-stage because first the liquid-to-air heat exchanger cools the processor down and then a fluid chiller further reduces the heat using the TEC mechanism. It is driven by an Intel Core Extreme QX6700 quad core 3.2GHz processor. The 4GB (2) 667 MHz DDR2 RAM makes this one race ahead of time (also making the cooling mechanism useful). The graphic requirements are tamed by NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTX graphics cards and memory needs are met by twin 160GB hard drives (10000 RPM). We also have two Optical Drives. A magnificent 20 inch widescreen by Dell UltraSharp, a Razer Taratula gamer’s keyboard and AS501 flat paneled speakers complete the specs of the XPS 710.

The Dell XPS 710 H2C gaming PC comes for a whopping $5500 and is accompanied by Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 and a one year warranty. Expensive one this, but it’s not a sin to lust for a machine.
