Dell Display Port LCD Monitor is sleek and sexy

At a recent conference, Dell unveiled their new high-resolution monitor and reiterated their belief that the new Display Port will be a standard in the future models and redefine what LCD monitors will look like. Display Port supports up to 4times the current HDTV resolutions, DVI, HDMI and audio signals. You will now be able to integrate the webcam, microphone, speakers, mouse, and other stuff through a single bi-directional cable with a transfer rate of 1.62 or 2.7 gigabits per second. It will support multiple monitors as well.

Though featured above is just the prototype, but Dell plans to ship this half-inch-thick screen monitor later this year. Display Port will also make notebook monitors thinner, that's really exciting!
