The Da Vinci droid is one of the most celebrated figures in the robotics industry. Here is a video that shows this dexterous machine meticulously peeling a grape and but there was certainly a bigger idea behind this exercise. These droids have popularly used to perform prostate surgery and this grape-peeling demo was the part of the prostate cancer awareness program at Southmead Hospital in the U.K. the thought of a massive machine like this being near to one’s private parts could be intimidating but the video here shows the prowess of the robot here as a meticulous and steady-handed non-human surgeon.
