Creative Zen Vision: M 30GB

Creative Japan has announced the Zen Vision:M 30 GB portable media player. The CZVM30G will be available in three colors Black, White and Green. It has a large 3.7" LCD (320 x 240 pixels) displaying 2,62,144 colors. It's battery provides continuous MP3 playback for 13 hours and video playback for 3 hours, the battery can be fully charged in 2 hours. The Zen Vision:M supports a variety of media formats MPEG-1/2/4, WMV9, MotionJPEG, XVid and DivX 4/5. MP3, WMA and WAV for audio playback. In addition to this it can open JPEG files and display the images as a slideshow. It has a built in FM tuner with support for recording via FM. It connects the PC via USB 2.0 with support for Windows XP only. Included is Creative Mediasource for transferring files and Video convertor to convert files to play on the Zen Vision.

Bundled with the Zen Vision: M 30GB is AV cable, USB cable, Docking station and a classy Leather pouch. It measures 62 x 19 x 104mm and weighs 166 grams. It will be available in Japan from mid December for 39,800 Yen ($ 330). Time will tell how it stacks up against the iPod Video.
