Creative Zen patent leak shows an internet tablet in the making

creative-zen_1.jpg Creative is not a well-received MP3 player since no current offerings can compete with the success of the iPod as a complete media entertainment device. Right from its design sense to its storage space offered has the potential to perform in this highly evolved market. However, with this new patent application it is now unclear if Creative is intending to stay in the MP3 player race or wants to shift gears into making a full-fledged mobile communication device. This new patent application filed in Jan this year shows us a new media player, which is rumored to be the new Creative Zen Vision. It was earlier touted to support Wi-Fi, Touch Screen, and GPS but the creative heads of the company could not pull it off.

Looking at the specifications for the Creative patent application, the device appears to sport a camera as well as a stylus too. It could be safe to assume that this may be an Internet Tablet, which could play your media, share digital content via Bluetooth, or access the internet via the in-built Wi-Fi.
