Creative Japan will be adding a 6GB model to its popular Zeon Neeon line of MP3 players. It will be available in 6 colors unlike the 5GB model which was available in 10 colors. It weighs around 75 grams and measures (47 x 16 × 80mm). It also has the "Creative Stik-On skin" which are basically peel off stickers which change the look of the player. It's LED display has 7 backlight colors (128 x 64 pixels). Headphone output is 7mw x 2ch and Equalizer has 4 preset modes and can be user configured. The Neeon can be connected to the PC via USB 2.0 and uses the Zen Neeon media explorer to organise and transfer files. It has a 2.5mm stereo line in for recording from external sources. In addition to voice recording it possible to record from the FM tuner also. The Lithium Ion battery has enough juice for 16 hours of continuous playback, it recharges via the USB port in 5 hours. It will be available in the last week of September and will retail for 24,800 Yen ($ 225).
