Chargebox an end to battery woes

chargebox.jpgYou crossed the threshold of your sweet home only to find the low battery alert flashing on your cell phone, iPod or any other gadget. The UK based Company BoxBrand’s novel creation of ChargeBox has to be an angel in distress. You just have to place your PDA, iPod or any other gadget inside, put a pound (GBP), lock up the secure box and come back in 40 minutes to find your gadget full of juice. The Chargebox features connections for a wide variety of devices, ranging from cell phones to music players. Chargeboxes can be found in locations such as hotels, gyms, train stations, airports, hospitals, internet cafes and on the high street in UK. Toby Staveley the MD of BoxBrands claims that ChargeBox can be installed anywhere and is completely safe to use. It ease-of-use is the biggest advantage and will serve to be of great privilege for people who need to fill some juice in their devices immediately.

It costs £1 to use a ChargeBox which gives you up to 40 minute charging time. This can be paid either with a coin or by SMS. No word on the American release so we can just keep that place cribbing about the low battery alert.
