Once in awhile you come across a product that you don’t know whether to classify as totally creative or totally crazy. I haven’t made my mind up about this the Century Sound Pillow, at least that’s the name the translation gives me. It’s either that or the iPod/iPhone Pillow Speaker. There are three models announced for a pillow that comes equipped with an iPhone or iPod attachment so you can soothe yourself to sleep with your favorite tunes. These are passive speakers so there’s no real electric wiring or charge that could set your hair on fire in case of a short circuit. The cable can be connected to any player that has a 3.5mm audio out function. The length of the detachable cable is 1.2meters and the pillow comes with a 100% polyester cover and weighs in at 580g with the speakers.

A kids version of the pillow is also available that weighs about 640g and is has dimensions of 60 × 40 × 20cm. There’s also a third model which the translation says is the “sound pillow 2 travel”. It’s great for those long flights or bus rides and also a neat little cushion for your neck. This also features dual speaks on either side of the neck brace for stereo sound. It weighs just 200gms and has a cable length of about 75cm. It’s also 100% polyester and. The normal adult sized pillow is priced at about $83 (6,980 Yen), the kids pillow comes for about $60 (4,980 Yen) and the travel pillow will set you back about $44 (3,680 Yen).
