Celluon CL850 Virtual Laser Keyboard

Despite all the advanced features UMPC's offer the onscreen keyboard is still not good enough for writing a long email. Korea based Celluon offers the CL850 which is a bit bigger than the iPod Nano. This unique device projects a virtual keyboard using Laser on practically any surface. The 3D electronic perception technology detects which keys are touched. It can be powered via USB, onboard Lithium Ion battery or Direct AC adapter. Other than UMPC's it can be used with Windows powered Smartphones, Blackberry, Symbian phones, Pocket PC's and Palm PDA's via Bluetooth. The projected keyboard is bright enough to be seen in direct sunlight. The CL850 has a buzzer which for the keystroke.
The can project a keyboard in the following langages English, Spanish, German, French and Korean. The company claims very soon mobile devices like UMPC, PMP and smartphone will be embedded with a similar device. Pricing and availability of the Celluon CL850 is not known yet.
