The phone provides capabilities of alerting you and those in your surroundings the moment it senses (or should I say ‘sniffs’) smoke in its surroundings. The phone the automatically dials a pre-saved number so that the ones in-charge are well aware that you are in for trouble. Various places like buildings, offices, theatres, trains, storehouses, etc. that is highly endangered by presence of fires can avail of this facility. A wonder product in the market like this is sure to crawl and stagger and finally make itself available in the global market.

The alarm is now on sale in Japan for 16,800 yen ($140) but to use it you must purchase a separate handset and subscription.
