
Casio have brought forth their slimmest rugged camera yet. The EX-G1 is slimmer than most of its predecessors at 20 mm. The weather-proof, dust-proof camera can be submerged for up to one hour, in depths of up to 3 meters of water. It can withstand temperatures as low as 14°F. Drop it from a height of 2.13 meters and you’ll see the shock-resistance make you proud of owning a macho camera like this one. Other camera-like features involve a 12.1 megapixel camera, 2.5 inch LCD screen, Intelligent AF, great shooting modes and a lot more.
The Casio EX-G1 will retail for $299 and will be available from December 2009. The camera also provides with a feature that allows you to shoot videos as if they were widescreen movies, at 848x480 pixels.
