The ZR600 is the latest addition to Canon's ZR line of mid-range Camcorders. It comes with a widescreen LCD display and a 1.6 inch CCD with 680k pixels. It has a SD / MMC slot and with the Motion JPEG mode you can record movie clips directly to the memory card. A bright 2.7 inch widescreen display is provided for preview, the camera's control's can be easily accessed vis the joystick. The ZR600 has 25X Optical zoom and 800X Digital zoom. It uses Mini DV tape and has a maximum recording time of 80 minutes in SP mode and 120 minutes in LP mode (80 min. cassette). The Canon ZR600 measures 49 x 92 x 115 mm and weighs 380 grams.
