BMW has announced that it will be adding gas prices, weather forecasts and also stock indices to its existing Google Maps connection. The drivers will be able to view a list of nearby fuel stations with gas prices and yes select the cheapest. Weather forecasts will show up graphically rich in a three-day forecast style for the current location of your car or destination. Stock advices will be provided by Bloomberg and will be limited to Dow, NASDAQ and S&P 500. These new information sources will be available on the 2009 1-3 series and also the 7 series and the Z4 as well. The 2010 5 and 6 series will also be getting this technology.
