Buffalo Japan has announced the BLMUW24YM wireless mouse. It is not Bluetooth and works on the 2.4 Ghz band with a maximum range of 10 meters. It has a 800 dpi laser sensor and is equipped with a scroll wheel as well. The mouse has a special compartment for the receiver which is the size of a USB drive. It is powered by 2 x AA batteries which provide 160 hours of usage.

The Buffalo BLMUW24YM will go on sale later this month in Japan for 8400 Yen ($ 70).
