Brunton SolarRoll juices your gadgets using solar power

Brunton_SolarRoll_1.jpg Almost ten years ago I went to this jungle-resort in Chitwan (Nepal) that was completely powered by solar energy. Everything from the geyser to the lamps worked on solar energy, but the only thing is that we could not recharge our gadgets on location, as there was no facility for that. We had to rely on AA batteries. Ten years hence, technology has thus progressed and we have things like Brunton's SolarRoll to help us out. It is available in three sizes and can power a variety of things including laptops, PDAs, satellite phone, GPS devices, cell phones, video camera, digital camera etc. They even claim that the SolarRoll can charge your car battery as well. The SolarRoll is ideal for those into adventure sports like mountaineering and sea kayaking.

Brunton SolarRoll is available in different sizes and costs between $199-$499 depending on which model you buy.
