Bluedot Japan is out with the BDP-1475 a portable DVD player which comes with a 4.7 inch screen supporting a resolution of 480 x 272 pixels. Apart from DVD's the unit also supports playback of Audio and MP3 CD's. the onboard battery has enough juice for 2.5 hours of playback after which there is the AC adapter. The DVD player will be made available in three colors in Japan for 16,000 Yen ($ 180).
