The name Blaupunkt is music to my ears. It's been many a day since I heard the name. And this time they are here with a nice, new, fresh rendition of their very own Velocity 2Go (it actually is a complete line up of lovelies). The boombox lives up to its name and identity with the lovely carry-handle that keeps the boomboxers jamming. The system is well named as the "world's first mobile active speaker system" (Really?), all thanks to the inbuilt active subwoofer. On a more modest note, it comes with 3.5-millimeter / RCA input jacks and promises operability on rechargeable AA cells. Here we have Velocity2Go 5 (with 80-watts of RMS power) and the Velocity2Go 6 (with a 4db volume boost).

Let's get blasting! The Blaupunkt Velocity 2Go 5 costs $499 while the Blaupunkt Velocity 2Go 6 comes for $599.
