The Blackwater Grizzly is the world’s only Armored Personnel Carrier intended to counter the most lethal threats in the modern urban combat environment. It incorporates the Blackwater High Threat Armor Protection System a state-of-the-art technology engineered to defeat projectiles up to .50 caliber and to provide an IED-survivable (improvised explosive devices) envelope. The Grizzly is made of AR500 the best armored steel in the industry, the passenger compartment walls are angled to deflect the deadly blast waves produced by mines, rocket-propelled grenades (RPGs) and improvised explosive devices (IEDs). It is powered by a 300hp diesel engine and has a cruising speed of 65 mph (100 km/h) to get out of trouble fast.

The Blackwater Grizzly comes with dual airconditioning systems, sun visors, tinted glass and power jacks for computers and other devices.
