BFG launches the devilishly expensive Phobos series of gaming machines

bfgtech-phobos-computer.jpg Alienware is not the only one making made to order extreme PCs for the hardcore gaming buff. If spending eight grand on a gaming PC is ok with you then, the new BFG Phobos machines could be right up your alley. These ultra-exclusive Phobos, start with prices of $3,000, all the way touching the $8,000 mark. The Phobos, as BFG named it, is going to be equipped with Intel's Core i7 965 3.2GHz CPU, MSI's Eclipse SLI motherboard, up to four Western Digital VelociRaptor hard drives, up to 6GB of memory, two BFG Geforce GTX 295 card for some quad SLI fun, and a slot loading Blu-Ray drive. A Liquid Cooling Solutions from CoolIT will cool the entire configuration.

BFG's Phobos also features an 8-inch front mounted LCD touch screen, which can show important system status overviews and can be used to set various system options. There will be three lines, the Performance ($3,000), Advanced ($5,000), and the Elite ($8,000).
