Oh dear. Now I know why my sixth sense never allowed me to buy a phone with GPS. According to certain sources, we may be facing the end of GPS systems all over the world by early 2010. There will be much chaos during this time, including blackouts and wrong information. Just imagine the predicament that would follow after this happens. We have countless systems, organizations and individuals who totally depend on GPS for their day-to-day activity. However, there will not be much to look out for in the field of future gizmos that are the main contributors and users of this system.

There is still some hope though. The Air Force is doing its part to help revive the dying out system. It won’t be long before we see a bunch of nerds taking the streets with illuminated maps strapped down their necks.
