Finally Electronic Arts has confirmed that Battlefield 3 is in development after all these years of rumors and speculations. It was not an official launch confirmation but it was during a meeting with the investors. It was also revealed that game would not be available in this financial year but there could be an early release date in summer 2010. Battlefield 2 was released in summer 2005.
