The concept of the bangle watch may be old, but the new DD101 puts all the traditional designs to shame. The award winning design has been created by O.D.M. The watch takes advantage of the flexibility of electroluminescent display technology designed by Pelikon UK. The technology used called pSEL, means that there is a plastic electroluminescent device inside the bangle. You need to press a button on the side and the time is revealed. Previewed recently at the Hong Kong Clock and Watch Fair it bagged the iF Design Award, China which was presented to o.d.m at CeBIT Asia in Shanghai.
