Bang & Olufsen is soon to unveil its latest addition to the BeoVision8 series of LCD TVs. The new line will be a 40-inch LCD with a 100hz refresh rate, 1920×1080 resolution, 6ms response time, 3000:1 contrast ratio, 500 cd/m2 brightness and an anti-glare screen, to avoid the shiny reflections from your precious furniture. The LCD will feature the trademark downward facing subwoofer and front facing speakers, to give the viewer the illusion that the voice is actually coming from the actor’s mouth.

The Bang & Olufsen BeoVision8 series LCD TVs were originally offered in 26 and 42 inch sized options, this 40-inch option does not yet have a launch date or price estimates.
