Baby talk via baby monitors cause a stir in Japan due to their transmitting frequencies

Baby-Monitor.jpg Did you ever think there would be a day that your Baby Monitor would be responsible for the government coming down on you? Well that day is here. In Japan the US military personnel who have children have been told to switch off their baby monitors as it apparently interferes with local radio frequencies. The Internal Affairs and Communications Ministry in Japan has warned the US forces (about 47,000 people) that this a has got to stop. Mobile phone traffic and radio services in Japan are transmitted at a similar frequency as baby monitors. So if you’re in Japan, and you’re car radio or mobile phone picks up a loud shriek or howl, it’s not the wind of the DJ’s fault, some’s kid just woke up.
