Avatar goes 4-D in Korea

avatar_movie.jpg Now that’s something new. A 4-D film is more than just viewing pleasure that a normal 3-D flick can be. Avatar – for instance – shook the world with the stunning special effects and cool 3-D. However the movie would be a lot more enjoyable if viewed in one of Korea’s CJ-CGV multiplexes. The theatres are blessed with moving seats, smells of explosives, sprinkling of water, laser lights and even gusts of wind that come to blow you away. Well, all of this is good as long as we’re talking about something as beautiful as Avatar. What would it be like, watching a SAW movie here? I wonder.

The tickets to such screening often cost a heft $15.80. That’s more than double the price of the regular ticket. Yet, these movies end up going with packed houses.
