Automobiles shelve car stereos to keep prices low
After years of oohing and aahing over luxurious sedans, high-nosed SUVs and adrenaline pumping sports cars, it seems the auto industry has hit a major meltdown roadblock. Eight new models in 2009 will be offering their vehicles without a radio on board to cut the final price and in turn open the market to your local stereo seller. Cutting corners in the automobile industry sure has its perks, no more settling for ordinary stereos on your low end version car. In Japan car makers are adding hi-tech gadgets to make their cars more appealing to first time owners. Of course I'm still waiting for the day when I can control my car on my mobile phone using the screen to view the rear of the car.
