Audi Music Interface is iPhone compatible

If you identify yourself primarily as an Adam (1st male on this globe) and Audi is your source of transport then I can’t be wrong to assume that Apple iPhone is the device you use to communicate (essentially). This makes perfect sense! Well Audi and Apple have been working closely to ensure that the full functionality of the iPhone is available in most Audi models. The only requirement for this the Audi Music Interface is the mobile phone preparation with the Bluetooth interface, optionally available in all Audi model lines. Actually it’s a cable and software update that, in certain models (A5, A6, A8 and Q7), routes the iPhone’s music through the car stereo. Navigation via the normal Audi controls allows you to browse by artist, track title, playlist or genre.

Alongside the standard hands-free functions (accept/reject call/hands-free), the mobile phone preparation supports the display of the signal strength and the provider's name, in addition to the transfer of the telephone directory including the icons "Work", "Home", "Mobile" and the call lists. Like every coin, there’s a flip side to this one too. Actually Apple could’ve made the whole thing a lot simpler by integrating A2DP Bluetooth, meaning wireless music streaming in its new God phone. Cause things could have been simpler then.
