Asus W5Fe Dual-Screen Laptop

We had reported on Dual screen Laptops and here is the Asus W5Fe the world's first Dual-Screen Laptop. The external display has its own power switch, four-way directional pad, and a menu for choosing tasks. It is a Vista only feature known as Windows Sideshow, which allows to read emails, check calendars, and similar tasks on the external display without booting up the PC. And the best part: it can run for “hundreds of hours without draining your notebook battery”
Pricing and availability of the Asus W5Fe is not known yet, but expect it to hit stores sometime after Vista release.

I like the concept of having another screen on the outside of the laptop but to what purpose is it a benefit. I really do not understand. Like having a sterring wheel on the outside of the car when really i need to be inside the car to work all the controls... mmmmmmmmmmmmmm think about.....
