Asus have ventured into making media centered PCs and have actually come out with the very impressive Asteio D22. Empowered with E6300 Core 2 Duo CPU and 1GB DDR2 RAM, this machine sure is a workhorse. An impressive 250GB of storage is available on a SATA drive. The multimedia needs are well met with a nVidia GeForce 7600 GS graphic adapter, a 7.1 channel surround sound audio and dual TV Tuners. Other multimedia features include a microphone, stereo output, 1080p ready HDMI content, S-Video and DVI ports. The network and connectivity specs include gigabyte Ethernet and a 802.11g Wi-Fi adapter. There also happens to be a Firewire port and USB 2.0 support. The box does look like something we have seen before but provide a lot more than many such seen-before-things put together.
