Though it’s fairly palpable we can get some hope from the fact that the iPhone 3.0 will have something to look forward to. However, the specs mentioned hereafter are claimed to be from the detailed specsheet of the phone. Well, since we are at that point where any news is good news, we shall here more. The iPhone 3.0 will have two versions 16 GB ($199) and 32 GB ($299). It will have a 3.2 megapixel camera, FM, built-in compass, GPS with connectivity to Google Maps and the camera, 1.5 times better battery life than the previous rendition and double the RAM and processing power of the original iPhone.

The site that has claimed these specs, App Advice, also claims that the iPhone 3.0 will be released on June 17th. Apple seems to have worked on the look and feel as well. The new Phone is said to have rubber-tread backing, an Apple logo on the rear that lights up and (thankfully) the metal band from the rim of the phone is said to be missing.
