Apple's MacBook incorporates NVIDIA graphics the low-end MacBook slashed to $999

apple_macbook_1.jpg Slimming down to a squeaky new price, the $999 new MacBook will feature NVIDIA 9400M graphics, Mini DisplayPort plug, new manufacturing method, backlit keyboard and fancy glass trackpad. It sports a 13.3-inch LED-backlit screen, is 0.5 pounds lighter than the earlier versions and measures 0.95-inches thick. It also boasts of 5 hours of battery life. The base model specs in at 2GHz Core 2 Duo processor and is priced at $1299. The better model is priced at $1599 gets you 4GB of RAM and a 320GB HDD. There's also an SSD option as well. The existing low-end MacBook slim down to $999.
