Apple to Give the Next iPad and iPhone a Dual Core Upgrade

apple_ipad2.jpg There is no rest for the rumor mills in the tech town. Just a couple of days back we spoke about the possible iPad Mini Hoax and today we bumped into this piece of news which says that iPad 2 will adopt a dual-core chip. This doesn’t look unrealistic for dual-core tablets are soon going to become an industry standard owing to upcoming Motorola Tablet and RIM Playbook.

Ashok Kumar, an analyst at Rodman & Renshaw suggested that a dual processor featuring a pair of 1GHz ARM Cortex A9 cores will be a common upgrade for both iPad and iPhone this year. He also believes that by the end of 2011, Apple would have had almost 50% of the Tablet market up its sleeves. The obvious end result of technology war between tech big-wigs is combination of top-notch features with competitive pricing. It’s better to just wait and watch the game here.
