Apple plays big brother bans game on Foxconn workers from app store

Foxconn has long been in the middle of controversies that hover around how it manages its employees. Molleindustria had unveiled a game app which was like a simulation of Foxconn’s phone manufacturing facilities. The Phone Story app is known bring forth the gory reality that rests beneath the shiny surface of the world’s favorite Apple gadgets. And Apple just had to ban this from their iTunes store.

The makers are asking the users to keep the phone as it would serve a perpetual reminder of the impact of our decisions. They are also giving away all of their revenues to workers’ organizations and other non-profits that are working to stop the horrors represented in the game.
