Apple iPod Classic gets 160GB and Shuffle gets headphone options

Apple_iPod_Classic_1.jpg There were rumors that the days were numbered for the iPod Classic. Well all that was just rubbish I guess because Apple just upgraded the capacity of iPod Classic to a neat 160GB. If the days were numbered, why would they do this kind of upgrade, isn’t it! Even the price of the 160GB is the same as the 120 GB at $249 and is being advertised as carrying 40,000 songs in your pocket. The new 160GB model has the same thin profile of the 120GB.

Apple’s self-proclaimed world’s smallest player gains more compatibility with headphones. It will cost $59 for the 2GB model and will come in five different colors. The 4GB will cost $79 and will be available in silver, black, pink, and blue and green. There will be a stainless steel edition but that will cost you $99. The shuffle is based on the shuffle feature of Apple which selects a random song from your album. The device is wearable with a built-in stainless steel clip making the user to clip it to anything and take it anywhere. Just make sure you don’t go swimming with it though.
